Name: Willie MacMurtry Willie was being teased by the rent collectors, encouraged to have "biblical relations" with his sister in S01-E05. He helped Dougal get the priest Father Andrew Gow to perform Jamie's and Claire's wedding without waiting for the banns to be read in S01-E07. He used his extensive knowledge of bible verses (from catechism with Father Bain). Willie was tasked with protecting Claire while Jamie et.al. went to meet with Horrocks in S01-E09. When she wandered off and got captured by the Redcoats while he was taking a piss, he road like the dickens to find Jamie.
