Name: Sir Fletcher Gordon Occupation: Warden of Wentworth Prison Actually, Frazer Hines played Jamie McCrimmon, a young Highlander wearing a kilt, in an old Doctor Who episode set in the 1740's that Diana Gabaldon watched which inspired the Outlander story! She even chose her main male character's name by merging the character's first name, Jamie, with the actor's first name, Frazer (changing the z to an s). Claire meets Sir Fletcher Gordon in Episode S01-E15, Wentworth Prison, where he's the Prison Warden who she is trying to talk into letting her see Jamie. He doesn't allow that, but does give her Jamie's personal effects, including the contents of his sporran (his broach, some fishing line and hooks, his wooden snake, etc.)
