Cousin: King Louis XV of FranceBonnie Prince Charlie was most famous for leading the Jacobite rebellion in Scotland in 1745 which failed miserably at the Battle of Culloden on April 16, 1746. The defeat effectively ended the Jacobite cause and put an end to the Highlander's way of life. He escaped back to France after the battle.
