Name: Murtagh FitzGibbons Fraser Death: April 16, 1746 at Culloden Murtagh rescued Claire from Black Jack shortly after she came through the stones in Outlander. Murtagh loved Brian Fraser dearly, and Ellen as well. Murtagh was Jamie's godfather and Jamie's father's second cousin, related to Primrose Campbell through his mother's side (Dragonfly...). He swore an oath to Ellen when Jamie was only a few weeks old, to watch his back and protect him.
