Name: Yi Tien Cho, a.k.a. Mr. Willoughby
Born:
Jamie said Yi Tien Cho means "Leans Against Heaven". But it sounds verra much like a coarse word in Gaelic, so he thought Willoughby would maybe do better. Jamie found him starving on the docks at Burntisland, and rescued him.
Mr. Willoughby likes to drink a bit too much, and likes the ladies too, especially their feet. He also has quite a bit of medical knowledge including the use of "Healthy Balls" and accupuncture, which comes in very handy.
Yi Tien Cho was a poet in China who rose rapidly in merit and eminence, and then before his 26th birthday, his poetry came before the eyes of Wan-Mei, the Emperor's Second Wife, who had great power, and requested that he become part of her household. But that honor required he become a eunach, which didn't sit so well. So he escaped China and ended up in Scotland near Edinburgh.
