Full Name: Franklin Wolverton Randall
Born: 1905
Died: January 1966
Parents: Jonathan Edward Randall and Nora Sheffield
Wife: Claire Elizabeth Beauchamp (m. 1937)
Children: Brianna Ellen Randall (b. November 23, 1948 at 3:03 am) Frank was Claire's first husband. They married in Scotland in 1937 when Claire was 19 and he was 32. In World War II Frank was in the British Secret Service (MI6) and was in charge of training and managing spies. After the war, he and Claire went on a second honeymoon to Inverness, Scotland before taking up his new position as a professor at Oxford University. He was interested in researching his family's genealogy, especially his distant ancestor Jonathan Wolverton Randall, who was the Captain of the Dragoons in Scotland in the 1800's. He enlisted the help of his friend, the Reverend Reginald Wakefield, to help him with his research. It turned out that Frank strongly resembled his ancestor Black Jack, at least in looks.
We can deduce that Frank met the Reverend Wakefield through Jeremiah Walter MacKenzie, who he was in charge of (spying missions?). When both Jerry and his wife Marjorie were killed in the war (in 1942?), their two year old son Roger was adopted by his maternal uncle, the Reverend Reginald Wakefield, and it could be that Frank had a role in making sure that little Roger was taken care of.
