V-E Day) was May 8, 1945) to rekindle their relationship and get to know each other again.
Frank was very interested in genealogy and with his friend Rev. Wakefield's help was looking up his ancestor, Jonathan Wolverton Randall (a.k.a. Black Jack). Later, Claire went back to find some flowers she'd seen there and accidentally traveled back 202 years in time, to 1743. The first person she encountered was Black Jack, who tried to rape her. Murtagh and his companions rescued her, she gave medical aid to a young Scotsman named Jamie who was shot and had a dislocated shoulder. And then they took her to Castle Leoch, the home of the Clan MacKenzie, as a guest, sort of. One thing lead to another, and she found herself in a position where she had to marry Jamie immediately in order to stay out of Black Jack's clutches. From there, things got very interesting...
